Donna Summer dies at 63

LaDonna Adrian Gaines (aka Donna Summer) was disco's foremost prolific star during the 1970s releasing international billboard top chart hits with Hot Stuff, Bad Girls, MacArthur Park, No More Tears (Enough is Enough), Last Dance and Heaven Knows. She died of lung cancer on the morning of May 17, 2012 in her palatial home at Key West, Florida and 6 months of battling with the disease. Upon her death, she was given the title of "Undisputed queen of the 70 disco boom" and ranked as one of the leading female singers in the world.
