Robin Williams dies of asphyxia at 63

Robin Williams, comedian and actor, died at 63 in Los Angeles of asphyxia in his hotel room. He was found dead in his room and the cause of death has been confirmed as suicide, his second attempt that day alone. He is succeeded by his three sons and daughter, and wife. The comedian was best known for his roles in the animated film Aladdin, Good Morning Vietnam, Mrs. Doubtfire (which he was slated to do a sequel for), Dead Poet's Society and Good Will Hunting, for which he won an oscar award.
