Richard Kiel, best known for his roles as a Bond villain in The Spy Who Loved Me and as Adam Sandler's gun loving boss in Happy Gilmore. He died at the age of 74 after breaking his leg and visiting St. Agnes Medical Center in Fresno, California according to the early reports. The Detroit native had previously worked as a nightclub bouncer and cemetery plot salesman before landing his first gig in acting on an NBC series called Klondike.

Joan Alexandra Molinsky, better known as Joan Rivers, died at the age of 81 during a procedure on her vocal cord at a clinic in the Upper East Side of Manhattan, New York. She is best known for her stand-up comedy, red-carpet interviews and for co-hosting a series of E! celebrity fashion shows. Her self-deprecating humour and critical view of celebrities raised her to stardom. She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Rivers.
